The Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) is set to mark the 4th Founder’s Day of the institution, with a lecture.
The celebration will hold on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the College of Agriculture Main Auditorium, Ikorodu Campus.
This year’s celebration, which is themed: ‘Mapping the Future’, reflects LASUSTECH’s identity as a blueprint institution for defining the mandate of modern science and technology.

The highlight of the event will be the Founder’s Day Lecture titled ‘Achieving the Objectives of Universities of Science and Technology’. The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Adenike Temidayo Oladiji, Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Akure.
Other scheduled programmes for the celebration includes interactive sessions, activities celebrating LASUSTECH’s progress, and a tour of the developmental infrastructure of the university.
The Founder’s Day Celebration highlights LASUSTECH’s commitment to fostering a strong academic community, and making a significant contribution to national growth.
